Description

Featured here is a layout/loose roughs of something that's been put on the back burner, but it is concept I really started getting into so I will probably finish this off even if it's not published. If I can finish in time I'll include it in the sketchbook I'm going to release at Phoenix Comic Con. ...oh yeah I said it. Sketchbook.

Wile I know a lot of folks like seeing these sketches I also really enjoy hearing your input and thoughts during this stage so this is open for critique.

As you can see there are some issues with the arm holding the sword and her legs, and though I have some ideas on how to fix them, I thought I'd hear what some of you may have to say. Perhaps you have an idea I didn't see before.

I will try to comment and reply to everyone if I can.

I would angle her right hand so that the sword is running up parallel along her arm more, kinda ninja assassin style i guess. Or throw a bend in at the elbow and give her more of a defensive stance with the sword arm. And maybe a little more attitude on her face. With that much swirling energy/ fire going on, and holding a sword like she is looking for a fight it seems that she should look a little less passive. Other than that without really knowing the story there's not much else that can be said. Looking good so far though.
