Escape from Wonderland 4 by SquirrelShaver Escape from Wonderland 4 by SquirrelShaver
I was going to wait to post this until it made Previews next month, but there's been request for it.

This is the colored version of the Wonderland cover that will be available November of this year put out by Zenescope Entertainment. Sorry it's so small I wish I had a larger version But I don't.

Pencils: Me
Colors: The wonderful Rachelle Rosenberg :iconrachellerosenberg:

I'm a huge wonderland fan;
Totally bad ass man, the line work is awesome
I was hoping Nei would be coloring it, but whoever did--did a nice job.

Look forward to seeing some more of your work for this series, lucky dog. I would kill for that gig haha!

Thanks for the kind words! the wonderland series has the great cult following. It's a shame Escape will be the end of it. Nei would have done a slam-dunk job on this no doubt, but I kinda like it this way too.

It looks good man...although (and I've never really been able to explain why) I often think the pencils alone are more impressive than the art with the color on it. That's the case with this one I think. The colors are cool but I feel like I notice and appreciate the pencil details a lot more when there's not color over everything. Still, the colorist did a great job. I just prefer the penciled version. :)

Thanks! I'm curious not to see what the printed cover looks like. For some reason it's alway slightly different than the original colors.

wasn't Nei Ruffino, was it? i know she's done work for the Wonderland Series before, but i'm not sure if she's got her hands in this one.

No, it's not Nei. I've had covers colored by her. The sig looks familiar but I can't put a finger on it.

ha. They tend to break easy. So do feet though if you're not wearing shoes so always wear them when knocking down editors doors.

Someone named RR... dont recognise the sig.

Who ever did a nice job. Her shoulder and hair blends in just a bit too much tho...

Oh and i mock your avatar. Bull shit for everyone

::steps in shit:: Yeah, i generally like it. I do agree the hair doesn't separate too much from the shoulder, but that could easily be my fault as well.

You know i was considering blaming you since you.
But does the penciler get to know about colour
schemes in what they work on.
