B U F F Y

This is a commission sketch I just finished of the lovely Buffy Summers. The client requested a "busty Buffy" which I was fun. ...my job does not suck.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is always a fun likeness to draw, and my wife is a huge Buffy fan so I've sketched her a bunch of times, but this is the first time I've taken her to a near-finished pencils stage.

Not only is Sarah fun to draw but she's very easy thanks to her unique facial features. Her features amaze me because they are very odd (large drooping eyes, short jaw and of course the nose) but some how work very very well together. I personally think she is stunning. A true one of a kind beauty, but I'm almost sure that if mixed with other more "idealistic" facial elements they would not look as pleasing.

I'm including a high-res download of these pencils for the newly formed Comic-Colorists Group.
